Important information: Microsoft Viva Goals will be discontinued on December 31, 2025!
Microsoft has announced that Viva Goals will be discontinued on December 31, 2025. The development of new functions has already been stopped since December 5, 2024. Companies using Viva Goals should therefore plan a migration to other OKR software at an early stage to avoid interruptions in their strategy implementation.
In October 2021, Microsoft acquired Ally.io, a provider of OKR software, and integrated the solution into the Microsoft Viva Suite, a modern employee portal and intranet product, in May 2022. However, on December 18, 2024, Microsoft announced the discontinuation of Viva Goals. Companies should therefore select alternative OKR software at an early stage in order to continue their strategy implementation without interruptions.
